Otis
Instruments fixed gas detection systems are
designed to provide continuous monitoring for a variety of common
atmospheric hazards including oxygen deficiency and/or enrichment,
combustible gases and vapors, and specific toxic contaminants such
as:
Ammonia
(NH3) |
Formaldehyde
(CH2O) |
Nitrogen
Dioxide (NO2) |
Carbon
Dioxide (CO2) |
Hydrogen

The ability
to display data and activate alarms in response to readings sent
from remote on-site sensors make the Otis Instruments controllers
an efficient way to monitor toxic gas hazards. System configurations
can include radios for WireFree communication. With
the addition of dry contact relays, signals can also be routed to
and from other remote sensors such as temperature, pressure, tank
levels as well as triggering lights, horns, alarms and fans.
Accessories
for these systems include, alarm lights, horns, and kits for remoting
sensors up to 250' from the controller (sensor dependent). Ongoing
system maintenance will require calibration and replacement sensors.
